Francine Park, MD

Dr. Francine Park is a board-certified psychiatrist in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry and co-founder of Ocean Bay Psychiatry.  She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis with a degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior.  Dr. Park received her medical degree from Loma Linda University where the emphasis was on approaching medical illness from a whole‑person perspective, recognizing the importance of relationships and community in overall health. She completed her general psychiatry residency at UCLA San Fernando Valley and went on to complete her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Southern California where she served as chief fellow.

Dr. Park strives to understand each individual to better provide a treatment plan that targets the underlying problem. You can expect her to work collaboratively with you and your family, school, and other healthcare practitioners to see you not only as the symptoms you are experiencing, but as an individual who is impacted by physical health, relationships with others, as well as the physical environment you live in. While Dr. Park has had extensive training in psychopharmacology, she believes strongly in the utility of therapy and the healing properties of holistic medicine.
